Hill Country Strong

When COVID hit, the Ranch Radio Group stood side by side with our Hill Country family. We showed up in Kerrville, Fredericksburg, Bandera, and Boerne — handing out “Hill Country Strong” t-shirts, bumper stickers, and yard signs. Not just to spread a message, but to remind each other who we are when times get tough.

Together, we are Hill Country Strong.

Then on July 4, 2025, disaster struck. Our community was devastated by historic flooding — people lost, homes were gone, roads washed away, and lives changed forever. And once again, the strength of the Hill Country had to rise.

And it has.

At Ranch Radio Marketing Group,  we're doing everything we can to support our community,- on the air & online. We are providing real-time updates, sharing stories & fundraisers, and offering resources for anyone in need - from those seeking help, those wanting to give help, mental health services, state assistance, information on affected businesses, and much more.

No matter which town we call home, we are united by something stronger — heart, hope, and the Hill Country spirit.

Hill Country Strong isn’t just a slogan — it’s who we are.

Parades

Parades are one of our favorites!  A wonderful opportunity to hang out with our fans and meet new folks as well as celebrate with our communities!

Radiothon

With the pandemic came the cancelling and modification of so many events for the hill country especially for the 4-H and FFA kids. We wanted a way to give back and help those kids who spent all year preparing for shows that no longer were going to happen. The Ranch Radio Marketing Group Radiothon was born. The first year we supported the Kerr County Livestock Show. The past 2 years have supported the Hill District Grandstand Show. What makes the Hill District Grandstand Show stand apart is its multiple county reach. Youth from over 40 counties had the opportunity to exhibit their 4-H and FFA livestock projects this past year. 2023 proved to be our best Radiothon to date with over $20,000 raised for our youth!

March for Meals on Wheels

Meals for Wheels provides millions of seniors with essential services that help them remain healthier and independent at home. The annual March for Meals celebration commemorates the historic day in March of 1972 when President Nixon signed into law a measure that amended the Older Americans Act of 1965 to include a national nutrition program for seniors 60 years and older. Meals on Wheels programs from across the country join forces in March to raise awareness and support to ensure they can continue to address food insecurity and malnutrition, combat social isolation, enable independence and improve health for years to come.

Non Profit

The Ranch Radio Group supports the entire Texas Hill Country community.  A 7 Time Recipient of the Texas Association of Broadcasters – Bonner McLane Award for “Best Medium Market Community Service”. Totaling over $100,000 every year, Ranch Radio Group is proud to match non-profit funds dollar for dollar. We participate and promote many civic projects including The Guadalupe River Cleanup, Easterfest (benefiting multiple children nonprofits), all area FFA/FH, annual community Radiothon (benefiting local kids), over 50 community parades, fairs and festivals throughout the year and numerous local charities, fundraisers and hill country events.
